applying the knowledge you learn

We were back in the car after obtaining dessert for our epic food time the other night and Trish kept talking about her NHC (Nocturnal Herpes Condition), so this conversation happened:

F: I was going to shove a cookie in your mouth to shut you up, but…
I: Competitive inhibitor!
F: …
T: Hey, that actually works! What would be a noncompetitive inhibitor?
F: If I put the cookie in your hand instead?
I: Chloroform.

He has a point. :/

This is when you know we’ve been in school for way too long.
