Honey Ginger Broiled Grapefruit

I got a giant bag of grapefruit (winter fruits, yay!) for $5, so I decided to make something simple with it. (Simple and super cheap.) I’ve never broiled anything in my oven, or really ever, but they turned out well! :D (I made 6 of em’.)

Honey Ginger Broiled Grapefruit

Ingredients:
-3 large grapefruits
-6 tsp honey
-ground ginger
-cinnamon
-brown sugar (optional)

Instructions:
1) Preheat broiler. Wash the grapefruits and slice each of them in half. Place them on a baking pan lined with foil.
2) Drizzle ~1 tsp honey and sprinkle the ground ginger, cinnamon and brown sugar (if using) onto each grapefruit half.
3) Adjust rack so that the tops of the grapefruit will be 3-4 inches from the heat source. Put grapefruit into the oven and broil until golden brown (5-10 minutes). Check it every couple minutes to avoid burning!
