health & safety fair

We had a booth at the local middle school’s health & safety fair last week. It was basically the first event that the incoming officers of our club did together, so yay for team building and making sure we can all work together! (I’m pretty sure we’ve already demonstrated that we can.)

Dan wanted to get a picture of the officers so he’d have something to include in our monthly reports for our chapter to the national office, so we agreed.

I managed to talk him into sending this picture in too. I feel like it gives us more character. :O

The last serious picture we took.

I love Sasha’s sphygmomanometer (better known as a BP cuff). :D It has cows on it!

I hope we didn’t scare any patients off! These were taken during out downtime, haha.

They’re a fun bunch to work with! :D We’re planning a lot of inter-club activities/events next year too.

Our hope is kindasorta to actually win an award for our club at the national conference next year. We have a billion plans and ideas, but most of it will probably have to be done before second semester, which is when we’re all likely going into hibernation to study for boards. I’m toying with the idea of running for national office, but I hate public speaking with a passion, so we’ll see. Running might actually force me out of my comfort zone (in a good way).
